Window Depot of Tyler, TX recently completed this whole home window replacement in Whitehouse, Texas at the home of Mitchell & Carla Gross on 10721 Lost Creek Road. This home was constructed in 1994 and still contained the inefficient builders grade aluminum windows placed in it at the time it was built. Many of the windows had become inoperable and most of the windows had lost their gas seals. This caused them to fog up and have severely reduced visibility. In the harsh weather of February 2021, the windows had also show themselves to be ineffective against the severe cold East Texas experienced during that period. They were also not very energy efficient during our extreme summers here in Texas. It was definitely time for an upgrade! Window Depot USA replaced the existing windows with highly energy efficient windows from Alside Window Company. The windows were color coordinated with the brick and trim to make the perfect presentation the home owner was looking for. The windows brought bright visibility and easy functionality back to the home. This home was built in the 70’s and our customer was having to live with the original cheap builders grade windows placed in the home at the time of construction. These old windows were leaky and no longer energy efficient in any way. The windows had also become cloudy over time and visibility was reduced. Our customer had purchased this home in a rural area knowing she would have to make several upgrades to this home to make it truly livable. New windows was one of the first upgrades she choose. Window Depot USA was more than happy to help Sandy make her home more comfortable. We removed her old windows and replaced them with the New Fusion White Vinyl windows. Window Depot of Tyler recently installed replacement windows in Longview, Texas at the home of Morris & Wanda Polk at 3501 Boyd Road in Longview. This home was constructed in 1973 and still retained the original low grade aluminum windows from the time it was built. The windows were single pane and had very little energy efficiency or integrity left. They had also become mostly inoperable over the years as well as becoming cloudy and difficult to see through. The Polk’s have a beautiful yard and an area where the abundant deer from the neighboring forest come to feed on the edge of their property. These old windows made it difficult to see their yard as well as visiting wildlife. It was certainly time for an upgrade! Window Depot USA replaced all of the single hung aluminum windows with Fusion Beige Vinyl two-part slider windows. This gave the Polk’s fewer obstructions in the windows and improved their visibility tenfold. It was like a different home. Window Depot USA Tyler/Longview recently finished these new replacement windows in Canton, TX at the home of Paul & Pam Lowder on Interstate 20. This home was built in the 80’s along a very busy Interstate Highway. The windows installed at construction were a lower grade bronze aluminum window. The windows were not energy efficient and had not aged well. Many of the seals in the glazing packages had failed causing discoloration and poor visibility. The customer also experienced very high energy bills due to the windows. Living on the edge of an interstate highway was also a challenge because the existing windows were unable to reduce any of the 24 hour-a-day highway noise the customer experienced. It was obviously time for new windows! Window Depot USA Tyler/Longview installed 26 new white Energy Efficient Fusion Windows. The windows not only improved the look of the home, but they also cut the road noise by over 50%. The customer even stated she could now sleep without being awakened by the noise. Window Depot of Tyler/Longview recently installed replacement windows in Como, TX. This was a complete window replacement at the home of the Gatlin’s on 400 McBride Street in Como, TX. The Gatlin’s have lived in their home for many years. They were aware they have needed new windows for quite some time, but the winter of 2021 really made that need even more apparent. Their windows were the original aluminum builders grade windows installed at construction. The were far from energy efficient and provided little protection from the near zero temperatures experienced in February of 2021. It was time for an upgrade! Window Depot USA of Tyler/Longview was more than happy to help. We installed new highly Energy Efficient Mezzo Double Hung Windows. Since the house was wrapped in vinyl siding, we took great care to install the windows and then tie them into the siding for a perfect fit. Window Depot USA Tyler/Longview just installed new replacement windows in Tyler, TX at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Cooper on 2921 Pollard Street. The Cooper’s home was built in 1958. The windows had been upgraded in the early 80’s with a low-level bronze aluminum builders grade window. The windows had really begun to show their age. Several of the seals were breached allowing air infiltration between the panes and causing fogginess and discoloration. The windows had also lost most of the energy efficiency they’d originally had due to age degradation. The bay window in the rear of the home had become damaged through the years due to leakage causing water damage. It was time for new windows. The Cooper’s choose the New Mezzo Beige window for their replacement windows. This window is highly energy efficient and a great addition to any home. We replaced the damaged wood in the bay window in the rear of the home and wrapped it with a vinyl wrap that will seal out the weather and give this feature a clean finished look. The beige color vinyl windows really complimented the brick on the home and improved its curb appeal immensely. The Cooper’s were very happy with the outcome of this project. Read more
